Kindergarten:
I Have Who Has: Tens & Ones
Children will have 1 card and will read their card, which will say “I have… Who has…?" They will have to figure out the number on their card by adding up the tens and ones shown on the card. They will then say the number they have on their card and ask who has another number, that is also shown on their card. The game goes until all cards have been read. Rolling to 100

True/False Subtraction

3-Digit Addition
Children will use 6 dice to roll and create a 3-digit addition problem to solve. For more competition, put children into groups and have them roll and solve the problems. Recount Folktales
After reading a folktale, children will complete a worksheet that describes characters, events, the conclusion, and the lesson/moral of the story. To make this activity more creative, children can draw their favorite event/character from the story.
Third Grade:
Spin the Area
Children will use a paper clip and pencil to create a spinner. They will then spin the spinner twice and use those 2 numbers as length and width to form a rectangle. Children will read a folktale and complete the graphic organizer that will help them find the moral of the story.
